2 weeks and a new position

So I missed a week due to reading break, but I have another one now. Hmm......what happened the week I missed? Oh yeah! I had my summer interview, and I was shocked on how well it went! I felt amazing after, and Amanda really complimented me on how much inproved my answers were. She told me she could see a complete 180 change in me since last spring. So that was really incouraging. Umm...I did homework, I umm...I didnt do much here, but I sure did a lot when I went home. On friday me and my dad hit up the ski hill, caught a few slopes for a day. It was really good. I hung out with my friends a lot, did my homework, umm...I really didn't do much worth mentioning haha. Oh me and 2 friends from summer 07 met up again. We all shared a room, and had so much fun together, so we made a dinner date. On wed I got 2 cavities filled, and had an eye infection, haha. Not that you really needed to know that.

Umm ok so that week was boring....moving on. Since I got back, I came into the room with someone sleeping in our spare bed, that was a bit shocking. Haha my roommates never told me someone was in there. But it's been kinda cool seeing the kaleo students of next year comming here to check out Kaleo. We had our last Lech class, which was pretty good. It's always a lot to consume in that class, but it's good cause I'm done my homework for that class, so I dont have to worry about anything!!! except my next 2 courses. But no, I'm on a good level for homework, which feels awesome! As well as on thursday I was being lazy and checking my facebook and Amanda comes down looking for me. (amanda is the Head Counselor in the summer time, and is helping with staffing until then) I was really hoping that she was going to tell me yes or no for the summer position I applied for. She took me in to the office with a stack of papers in her hand. As I patiently waited for Jordan to exit the room. Haha. She told me Yes. She is really excited to see me in the position of sr counselor. Though she does not want me counseling youth camp at the moment, that could change depending on how the summer goes. I feel really good about finaly being given the opportunity to have this position. Though it took YEARS to get it, Im sure it will be worth it!

Umm...I can't think this week. Ok for youth we went to another church to see the Manafest concert. It was pretty sweet! I love being with those girls. It brings me joy each week to see their smiling faces! I am going to miss them dearly when it's time to say goodbye. Anyways, here's a pict from the concert. This is like the only one that really turned out.

On saturday Shannon and her soon to be husband got baptized. I cryed, I will admit I had tears comming out of my eyes, though I found that day quite emotional for me. I had tears for that, I had tears in our NY meeting, and I had tears in the prayer room. I've been looking back at some of my photos from a year to a year and a half ago, and they crush me! they cause me pain to see them. I feel as though I need to show Amanda where I was a year ago compared to where I am now. I find that people might see a change in me a bit better if they see those pictures. I never thought Id see the day where those pictures would hurt me. But I have. Here's a pict from shannon's baptism.This week we have the very well-known and scary class called.......GOSPELS "duh duh dunnnnnnnnnn" haha. yes hitting up the desk and books once again. Pray that this week will be helpful and that we would all be very focused on this class as we have an exam on friday for it, and we leave on monday for our missions trips. Therefore our trips are all we can really think about right now. Pray for Tom who is going to India, and he just got a cast off and has found it hard to walk again (india is all hiking) Pray for me as I find it hard to stay focused in anything, and pray for every trip. New your, India, and Vancouver. We all need prayers for what's ahead. Umm...yeah so that's about all for now. Next week I will post before I leave and then again when I come back.
