So I missed a week due to reading break, but I have another one now. Hmm......what happened the week I missed? Oh yeah! I had my summer interview, and I was shocked on how well it went! I felt amazing after, and Amanda really complimented me on how much inproved my answers were. She told me she could see a complete 180 change in me since last spring. So that was really incouraging. Umm...I did homework, I umm...I didnt do much here, but I sure did a lot when I went home. On friday me and my dad hit up the ski hill, caught a few slopes for a day. It was really good. I hung out with my friends a lot, did my homework, umm...I really didn't do much worth mentioning haha. Oh me and 2 friends from summer 07 met up again. We all shared a room, and had so much fun together, so we made a dinner date. On wed I got 2 cavities filled, and had an eye infection, haha. Not that you really needed to know that.

2 weeks and a new position
Umm...I can't think this week. Ok for youth we went to another church to see the Manafest concert. It was pretty sweet! I love being with those girls. It brings me joy each week to see their smiling faces! I am going to miss them dearly when it's time to say goodbye. Anyways, here's a pict from the concert. This is like the only one that really turned out.

The Weeks Continue
Well well, as I sit here at my dest realizing that in 2 months, it will be time to take it down. I've tryed not to think about the end of Kaleo, but it keeps on comming back into my head. Oh well.
This week was a crazy week. I started the week off sick and have been slowly getting better throughout the week. I've had a lot on my mind and have been trying to shove it all behind me until after I get my homework done. Well, that didn't really happen. After slacking this week, I managed to go through my thoughts and figure some of them out. I finally sat down and talked to jim a bit and my father and scheduled the date for my re-baptism. It was a long time in the process, but it is finally here, and I know that it's time to commit myself fully to the Lord without breaking down and falling into a black hole again. I'm really excited. It will be on March 28th at 2 PM here at Qwanoes.
Not much happened throughout the week, it was good to have some time to relax and catch up on my sleep a bit, but I didn't really do much until the weekend. This week at youth it was our turn to plan the night. Jon, Daneille, and Jayme planned the games, and I did the devo. Now if you know me you will know that I SUCK at doing devos without some guidence, which always frustrated me, because I new that I could not become a sr Counselor here at camp without being able to whip out a devo every night or so. So I was like "Ok I can do this easily. It's simple, just use a lofe story and work off of that" so that's what I did, and it turned out to be amazing! I got a lot of compliments on it and I feel like I could do that anytime now! It was also Jon's, Daneille's, and a girl at youth Sasha's birthdays this week. So me and michelle decided to bake them a cake and decorate it and surprise them at youth. So friday night we went to Michelle's house for dinner, and I kept on slipping into the bedroom to decorate the cake that was in their closet. Hahaha it was so much fun. Here's a pict of them in the closet, and the 3 birthday people.

This week, well tomorrow actually, we are hitting a ski hill, doing tonz of homework, and going places for reading break. It will be good to go home again. I need to be with my cat for a while. Hahaha. Anyways, it's short this week, but not much happened that would be interesting...........oh yeah, on heart day.......Shannon Allison got Engaged!!!!! So I have another wedding to go to some time in the near future hahahaha. Ooh, pray for me this week PLEASE. I have my summer interview on wednesday and I'm ready for it, but it would be good if God would keep me positive and feeling good about it. So pray for that. Other than that I will see you later. Have a great week, and God bless!!!Posted by Leila at 2:18 PM 2 comments

Changed my Mind
I was just going to use the letter as my blog post this week, but I changed my mind.
Anyways, where to begin? Well, on monday I went home for the day to try and replace all my ID cards and such. It was extremely anoying to have to do it, but hey. I saw a few friends and managed to squeeze enough knowledge out of my brain to talk my dad into loaning me the money for a new camera. So I now own a Canon 40D. Yes yes I know, it's a canon not a nikon. It was a hard decision, and I would not say that I am completely happy with it, but I really didn't want to get the same one as I had before, or the one that was a step up, because if I do get my other one back then I will have two that are basicly the same. And the one that I did want would of sucked my bank account dry, and I needed to buy a flash with it to make it even work which in total would of come to over $2000. so that was upsetting, but hey. I'm happy with the canon for now. I've found it usefull as the week has moved on because jordan and phil both have canon's and have been able to help me out with figuring my way around the camera. So that's been really cool. Here's a pict of me with it.
This week we had class again. We had Old Testament which was actually interesting. And our prof was so cool! I found a lot of information helpfull. Our exam was quite hard and im pretty sure I bombed it, but I'm praying that I will still pass the class. It was a really cool week though. That's the class I've been waiting for to help me with my biblical knowledge. I've been kind of bored this week I dont know why, but I cant seem to entertain myself outside of homework. So that's when I decided to pick up my camera and try to shoot the amazingly beautiful moon that was outside reflecting off the ocean. I was failing at capturing it, so phil and I went out after worship and he changed 80 million things on my camera, andlet me use his freakishly amazing lense that I want, and I got the shot. Here's a pict of it below. That made my night to know that my camera can do something like that with a few changes.
Youth this week was sweet. I absolutely love my youth group and I'm going to be heartbroken when I have to leave them. This week we went to a member of the churches house to play rockband. I decided to spice things up a bit by dressing up. I kind of scared the kids at first, but then they started to get into the game of me and my costume, and were hanging out with me as I danced like a crazy person. That was a lot of fun.
Keep me and the thief in your prayers, I really want to find this person and try to help her regain her true being, and I'm pretty sure that that is impossable. And she just needs prayer, for it has been shown that God wants to to something with this thief, and now it's a matter of keeping her in our prayers so God can keep on changing her lifestyle. Through this I can see great things happening.
This week not much is exciting, we were supposed to go snow camping, but mount washington decided not to have enough snow anymore, so we are having another guys/girls night. Iwas kind of upset about that because I was really looking forward to being together as a group, but oh well. Im sure it will be fun. Other than that all that we are really doing is homework. So pray that I will be able to keep my focus, cause I need it right now. Umm...other than that, not much is new or is about to go on. Hope your week is a good one, and I will hope to talk to you sometime. See ya!
